Special Projects at Cygnus 

All students are required to undertake Special Projects after the first semester of the program at Cygnus Economic and Business Research.

Special Projects focus on analytical study and research on various companies/ industries. The objective is to provide students "On-the-Job Training" opportunity through involvement in real- time projects.

Main features of Special Projects

  • Opportunity for the students to contribute 3 weeks of full-time work, during their study with ISFS.

  • The students are guided and evaluated on a continuous basis by faculty members of ISFS and senior executives from Cygnus, who act as mentors.

  • Special Projects require students to pursue detailed study and analysis of the specific company/industry through intensive discussions with executives and consultants. This is supplemented by literature survey and library research.

Internship leads to applying knowledge to work, developing application skills, and gaining practical hands-on work experience. It helps students experience the rigors of work place. The basic aim is to provide students with the relevant projects that enable them to meet their professional goals, strengthen their knowledge and skills, and establish a network of contacts for exploring future opportunities.

Internship Program

Cygnus Business Consulting & Research offers wide-ranging internship opportunities for the students. They include studies relating to economies, industries and corporates; sector-specific studies; financial market research, equity valuation, bond research, derivative research, M & A valuation, funds research, etc.

The internship programs are carefully structured around individual career goals, keeping in mind the skill-sets currently in demand. They are coordinated and supervised by experienced consultants and faculty.

Students who successfully complete the internship program will receive the necessary completion certificate from Cygnus along with approved reports/studies prepared by them.
