The MBA (Finance)
Program of the University is a two year, full-time program. It is a unique
program, which addresses the broader financial and managerial issues in all the
important areas of financial management and analysis.

Enrollment
The students are
allowed to register for the MBA (Finance) Program of the University under the
flexible mode.
Eligibility
Graduation
(10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in any discipline (English medium) with 50% and above in
aggregate, and final year students awaiting results. They should also qualify in
any one of the following tests namely GMAT® / CAT 2007 /IBSAT®
2007 / XAT 2008 / MAT (Latest).
Admission is
through Application and Interview process.
Awards
Students who
successfully complete the program will receive MBA (Finance) Degree from the
University.
Program Structure
The MBA (Finance)
Program covers 32 courses spread over two years in four semesters. Students will
also undergo summer internship after Semester II. Dealing Room Training and
Special Projects are also required to be done in the third and the fourth
semesters respectively.
Students can also acquire
additional certifications like IRDA certification for general and life
insurance, AMFI certification for mutual funds, NCFM certification for financial
markets and MCX certification for commodities with marginal additional
preparations.

The program structure is

Electives:
Each student has
to select in all 8 electives, either all from stream A or at the rate of 4 from
each of stream A and B.
The elective
courses offered are subject to the stipulation of a minimum number of students
opting for the same.
Those students, who wish to
undertake additional, non-credit courses can choose an Optional Free Elective
course each in the third and fourth semester, from either of the streams.

choice of MBA (Finance) / MBA (Investments) Program at the end of the first
