How to Finance
your MBA Programs
To supplement
your own resources to finance the
MBA Programs, the following sources are available:
Bank Loans
Banks may provide
educational loans to the applicants selected for the MBA (Finance) and MBA
(Investments) Programs. Applicants are required to approach the respective
branches in their city/town for educational loans. The loan amount will be
disbursed in stages as per the fee schedule. There are no margin requirements.
The interest rate
applicable to education loans is usually around 9-12% or less. The loan
documents should be executed by both the applicant and the parent / guardian
with joint and several liability. Repayment starts 1 year after completion of
studies or 6 months after getting a job (whichever is earlier).

Scholarships
To encourage
meritorious students, ISFS awards merit scholarships for the MBA Programs of up
to 50% concession in tuition fees. The number of merit scholarship holders will
be limited to 10% of the total number of students. These merit scholarships are
initially based on the performance of the students at the end of the first
semester examinations. The award of merit scholarships in the subsequent
semesters will be governed by the performance of students in each semester. The
fee concession under this scheme will be applicable only for the tuition fee
payments and not for any other fees i.e., admission fee, alumni membership fee
and other fees as may be applicable. Further details will be provided in the
Student Handbook.
