The Application Modalities are with reference to the
full-time MBA (Finance), MBA (Investments) and
MBA (Banking) Programs. The academic support and placement assistance for
the MBA Programs is offered by ISFS.

Selection
to the MBA Program is highly competitive. The goal of the admissions
committee is to select applicants whose academic background, work
experience, leadership abilities and communication skills meet the demands
of the program and promise a successful career. Intelligent,
ethical, articulate and active individuals are encouraged to pursue this
program. The admissions committee evaluates applicant's prospects as
future leaders and their projected ability to succeed and profit from the
MBA Programs.

ASMAT
for MS/MBA Programs
Applicants
who wish to apply for MS/MBA Programs but do not possess valid
scores of any one of the following tests: GMAT®/ CAT 2008 /
IBSAT® 2008 / XAT 2009 can appear for ASMAT 2009. They are
required to complete the Application Form (enclosed) for ASMAT
2009 and submit it on or before January 31, 2009 at the

Interview
The applicants shortlisted will have to go through interviews. The
interview panel will be seeking to determine the student's attitudes and
motivation to pursue the MBA Programs. The interviews will be
conducted as per the schedule given in the admission calendar at Hyderabad.
The admission decision will be communicated at the end
of each day of the interview. All the selected students will be issued
selection letters on the day of interview. The fee and other details will
be indicated in the selection letters.
Past Academic Record
While evaluating applicants for admission into the
MBA Programs, due consideration is given to the applicant’s past
academic achievements. Apart from the marks/CGPA secured, various academic
achievements and honors obtained by the applicant, professional and
postgraduate qualifications are also considered.
Work Experience
Applicants exposed to the real world business
environment are undoubtedly at an advantage while appreciating advanced
concepts and their applications. The admissions committee assigns
considerable importance to the previous work experience (if any) of the
applicant.
Program Choice
The students can choose the area of specialization at
the end of the final year. The courses are common for all 3 programs
during the first year.
